John – I love your videos! I just watched the ones about password security (I’m already a 1 Password user…love it) and credit card alerts (I know some of my accounts are set up with alerts but not all…they will be now!).

I set up account alerts as suggested. Excellent idea, except when it fails.

They work with 2 of my Cards from different vendors, but I have 2 cards

from Citibank that refuse to work. I have it set up correctly, their people

confirm that it is set up correctly, and I have been able to receive an alert

during the set up process. That is as far as it goes. I cannot get a real alert

with either of those 2 cards. My phone is with Walmart Family Value,

    which is powered by T-Mobile.

I’ve read somewhere that T-Mo uses some different method of sending txt

messages, something about an abbreviated address. Have you heard

about this? I wonder if this is the issue? I don’t have another smart phone

to test it on. All my other text msg from people, my other credit cards,

banks, utilities, amazon, paypal, and my internet provider work fine. Of

course, the tech support people at WFM don’t know a thing about this.

I wonder of you have additional information.
